I could not have had a better experience in the planning and carrying out all the details for my husband's funeral. Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary - the whole crew - went out of their way to help me and our big family navigate the whole process from start to finish. Their kindness and expertise made a very painful thing a very doable process. They held my hand through everything and they handled my husband with such dignity and respect. That meant so much to our family. They worked with every detail and carried out our plans seamlessly for the preparations, the two viewings and the funeral service. They have integrity and care deeply about serving our community. I will be forever grateful and without hesitation recommend all of their services, which I also used when my parents passed away! Even when you feel your loved one is close to slipping away, when that final hour arrives, , it is still difficult. From the time Dad was transported shortly after his passing to the last minutes at the cemetery burial, Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary offered assistance that was generous, caring and professional. We felt Dad was taken care of with the utmost dignity he would’ve wanted and we felt he deserved. Gabriel was very helpful in offering suggestions, checking in several times to secure decisions, as well as making sure each detail was completed. The photo narrative shown at the viewing was well designed with a pleasing variety of screens and music. As we initially viewed the hearse, we were surprised and pleased to see decals added to the rear window with his name, dates of his life and silhouette of the temple Mom and Dad had been married in….such a nice touch that warmed our hearts. As a family, we would highly recommend Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary to handle one of the most important services of their loved one’s lives.
